Abkhazi Garden Welcomes Volunteers!

Abkhazi Garden Welcomes Volunteers!

Abkhazi volunteers play an important role in sharing the history of the garden, the lives of Peggy and Nicolas Abkhazi, and the personal vision that they had for their garden.  By sharing this unique and fascinating story they are generating a feeling of connectedness and appreciation of the garden.  Most people do not realize that it requires over 80 volunteers every week to ensure that all aspects of the garden run smoothly, to provide a positive and lasting impression on all guests.

Meet new people!  Share your expertise, skills, & talents!  Be involved with gardens & local history!

Become a part of our team from March to September with a commitment of 3 hours a week.

Our core volunteer roles include:

  • Garden Greeter
  • Gift Shop Steward
  • Gate Greeter
  • Tea Room Server
