More Information:
Mariposa Organic Farm was established in 1962, and has always used organic growing methods. They are located in an environmentally unique area of grassland on the Similkameen River. Their farm is 23.7 acres in size with about 40% of it being ecologically protected sagebrush steppe grasslands. They are fortunate to be surrounded by large areas of wild land and neighbors who also practice organic methods. The farm is operated by Karl Eriksen, Sarah Martin, and our two children, Skye and Shannon. They all benefit from the wise counsel of their farming predecessor, Lee McFadyen.

Mariposa is currently certified by Living Earth Organic Growers Association (LEOGA). LEOGA is an organic certification body based in the South Okanagan. They are also members of COABC and comply with the COABC provincial standards.
