This certified organic farm and vineyard is tended lovingly by Jon, Lana and Kye Popham. The Pophams grow the grapes and Ken Winchester makes the wine on-site. The Barking Dog wine made from a blend of organic Ortega and Bacchus grapes is ‘conservation-labelled’. Other wines made by Ken use grapes from other vineyards.

The Pophams feel very strongly about protecting the natural habitat within their farm and enjoy the balance between farming and conservation. The farm is composed of 4 acres of productive agricultural land and 8 acres of second growth forest, Graham Creek (a tributary of Hagan Creek), and a pond. The forest is habitat for many species including a large number of Barred Owls.
