On Saturday December 12th, TLC lights a candle for climate change. At the 13th International Conference of National Trusts on the importance of conservation when addressing climate change, TLC signed the Dublin Declaration on Climate Change. The Declaration is meant to send a clear message to those attending the United Nations Climate Change Conference in Copenhagen from Dec 7 to 18, 2009, to prioritize natural and man-made heritage protection climate change strategies. INTO (International National Trust Organization) will represent TLC and other trusts at the conference. As part of an international day of action, TLC will show its support for INTO by attending a Candlelight Vigil at the Vancouver Art Gallery at sunset.
