This Saturday, October 24th, is International Day of Climate Action. More than 170 countries will be participating in a variety of events for the global cause, calling on our governments for more action on climate change.
Locally, both Victoria and Vancouver are hosting their own, fun filled, days of action, and TLC will be at both of them! Read on for more info…
Victoria 350 – Future Fest
From 12noon until 4pm there will be a variety of great events all happening in Centennial Square, and all for free! Join us for music, speeches, bike rally, kids corner and more. Come say hi to TLC staff and volunteers at our table.
Vancouver 350 – Bridge to a Cool Planet
Speeches, dancing, music, eco-fair, kids activities and a bridge walk are the main attractions of Vancouver’s “Bridge to a Cool Planet”. Come join us for the bridge walk, 11am at the south end of Cambie Bridge, and look out for TLC’s banner!
