Edible Shaggy Mane Mushroom by Jessica Wolf
For the fourth year in a row, TLC Member and biologist Jessica Wolf, will be offering edible mushroom workshops at Wildwood this fall. Each year these workshops sell out quickly, so book your spot now!
This three-hour workshop helps you develop skills to find and identify a dozen edible mushrooms. Gather around a fire for the first two hours for a fungal “show and tell” of many easy-to-identify edibles and look-a-likes, then stroll around Wildwood Ecoforest to look for specimens in their habitat. This is not a mushroom foray where we collect mushrooms to take home, but rather an opportunity to learn the skills to forage with confidence for your own wild edibles.
The workshop costs $40 and will be offered at TLC’s Wildwood Ecoforest, 20 min south of Nanaimo, B.C. To help preserve special wild places, $100 from each workshop will be contributed to The Land Conservancy of BC.
The workshops fill up quickly, so before you send in your registration, call or email to make sure there is still space. Jessica Wolf 250-722-2292, email: photo@jessicawolf.ca, website: www.jessicawolf.ca.

What are the numbers for registration? before it sells out
Thank you for your email!
I just spoke with Jessica Wolf and the weekend workshops are full. She has about 5 spaces left on Monday and about 5 on Friday. She likes to keep the group size to 15 max. Jessica also requests that people contact her directly at photo@jessicawolf.ca before they send in registration so that she can hold their spot.
